APPOINTMENTS WITH THE PASTORS
Our Pastors welcomes individual appointments with our members and are thankful for each visit! Unfortunately, our Pastors do not have their schedules in front of them after worships services on Wednesday & Sunday. To prevent missing an appointment or double booking themselves, please call the church office at 588-1247 during office hours to schedule an appointment. We appreciate your assistance with this matter so that we are better able to respond to your requests.
IN THE EVENT OF INCLEMENT WEATHER ...
It is possible that services & activites could be cancelled because of inclement weather. If the pastors & elders decide to cancel, here is how you can find out:
1. Closing information will be submitted to KCRG - TV 9, KWWL - TV 7, KGAN - TV 2 & on the radio at 92.9 KATFM & 1490 WDBQ.
2. If you would prefer to receive an email, please let the church office know at orlcdbq@gmail.com so we can update our contact lists.
FAMILY (CRY) ROOM
We want to make sure everyone knows that the " Cry Room" at the back of the Sanctuary is for families & their young children or infants during service. We have limited space in this area & need to keep it available for families when they have the need to take their children out of the Sanctuary. Thank you for helping us to keep this space family - friendly.
SCAM ALERT
It's been brought to our attention that there is a scam going around our community and also within the Iowa District East and LCMS organizations in which individuals are pretending to be local pastors & emailing congregation members asking for money or gift card donations for various purposes. PLEASE KNOW THAT OUR PASTORS WOULD NEVER EMAIL ANY OF OUR MEMBERS & ASK FOR CASH OR GIFT CARDS. Please be cautious when receiving emails or phone calls from anyone asking for money or personal information from you. If you believe you have been a victim of one of these scams, please contact your local authorities to file a police report.
